We have three research centres, all open to the public. Each centre holds different material. Information on this, and how to get to each centre is on their individual pages. Both Droitwich and Walsall have complete sets of Notices and Proceedings, and you can search the archive to see where individual items are kept.
We aim to provde an efficient and friendly service where visitors can undertake research in an orderly manner, preserving the quality and integrity of the archive. Each centre has its own visitor guidance leaflet for information on how you can help us do this, these can be downloaded from the pages linked below.
We have a limited number of places at each of our research centres, so please book ahead to guarantee your place.
The distribution of material between our centres is still being worked on, so the information you are looking for may be at more than one location.
Our Droitwich research centre holds the majority of our large collection of original industry records.
The Alan Mills Library at Walsall holds our collections of timetables and other operator publicity, our journals and books.
The Acton research centre contains information about road transport operations in London.
